Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University delegation visits GSCAAS
On October 11, 2017, the GSCAAS Vice President Professor Luo Changfu met with the Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU) Vice-Chancellor Dr Kamal Uddin Ahamed, along with his three colleagues at the campus in Beijing. The two sides exchanged views on further developing collaboration in the fields of graduate education and student exchange.
Luo extended his warm welcome to the delegation and made a brief introduction about GSCAAS, especially international students’ education and international cooperation. He sincerely expressed his wishes that more young scientists in the field of agriculture from Bangladesh would join GSCAAS in the future.
Dr Kamal Uddin Ahamed thanked for Luo’s welcome to his delegation. He said that, as the neighbor countries, Bangladesh and China has a long history of friendship, he believed that with mutual efforts, the collaboration between SAU and GSCAAS will be fruitful.
Founded in 1938 in Dhaka, the SAU was established for the expansion of higher agricultural education and committed to promote research in various fields of agricultural sciences and to offer extension services.
