On March 20th, Ms. Rebecca Picard, Director of the Internships and Youth Impact , World Food Prize Foundation (WFPF), visited the Graduate School of CAAS (GSCAAS). Prof. Fang Haiyang, Executive President of GSCAAS, attended the meeting. Both sides exchanged information about the WFPF Internship Program and reached consensus on advancing the high-quality development of the program.

Ms. Picard briefly introduced WFPF and expressed her appreciation for the GSCAAS’s strong support and contributions to the WFPF Internship Program. She highly praised the research conditions, faculty team, library and information resources, as well as internationalized educational environment of CAAS, expressing the willingness to further strengthen cooperation in the internship program.

During the visit, accompanied by Mr. Wang Xunqing, Director of the International Education Office of GSCAAS, Ms. Picard visited the Institute of Crop Sciences of CAAS (ICS-CAAS), the National Agricultural Library, the National Agricultural Science and Technology Innovation Park, and the teaching and living facilities for international students.

Prof. Li Xueyong from ICS-CAAS, representative of the intern supervisors, along with his team, participated in the event.
